Gurcharan Das, Author of 'India Unbound' and former CEO of Procter & Gamble India, narrates how it took his father 9 months to get 2 bags of cement to construct their house and about how Vicks got registered as an Ayurvedic product.

According to him, "We got our independence in 1947,but we only got our political independence. We started to get our economic independence only in 1991. The process is an ongoing one and as the reforms proceed we are slowly getting more and more independence."
